Water Car, No longer Myth?????

By Aaron Horowitz
Is the rumor about the Water-Fuelled car true? If it is, this might make it into the “top ten inventions” article posted by Mary Bellis in http://inventors.about.com/od/famousinventions/tp/topteninvention.htm

This might change the world’s use of Gasoline’s and oils, so oil can be used to do and make other things. This specific invention has astounded all who have heard of it.

There are Water Cars in Japan, Philippines, Pakistan, America and maybe more that we have not yet heard of yet.

Engineer Wahaq Ahmed drove his car using water as fuel July 26, 2012 as a demonstration for parliamentarians, scientists, and students, http://www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-in-school/article3694244.ece

Even if we hear rumors about Water Cars all over the world in the past few years from 2009-2012, we have not yet heard of a car powered by water in the Philippines that was made in 1968. Information on this can be found at: http://www.panacea-bocaf.org/danieldinglewatercar.htm

Genepax, a company in Japan has combusted the idea and a way to make a Water Car. Info on this can be found at: http://www.greenoptimistic.com/2009/02/24/genepax-japanese-water-car-company-shut-to-silence/

Sandpoint Idaho Shooting

By Kiki Glenn

Super 1 Foods in Sandpoint, Id
What is this world coming to? How can we change? Recently, on Wednesday, February 6th, 2013 at 5pm in Sandpoint Idaho we had a shooting across from Super 1 foods. The police responded to the shooting at 6pm. Two men in their early 30's were fighting. Anthony Viola, 35 took out his gun and shot the other unknown man in the arm. The man who got shot in the arm was treated in the hospital, as Anthony Viola had shot himself and is now deceased. Police say that both Alberto Tuinzing and Anthony Viola were related through marriage.

What should all the schools do to prevent this? Well just like Sandy Hook, we could install machinery to prevent these shootings in schools. But, what about on the streets or at homes? Well that is kind of hard, most people have guns in their homes to prevent this. But, how could it help if someone had one in their bag or jacket? This is a serious problem.

Sandpoint's Family Dining and Great Root Beer!

I recently went to MickDuffs Brewing Company. I had the French dip with gorgonzola cheese fries. The beef was succulent and the au jus was mouth-wateringly awesome. But, the best thing by far that I had was the home brewed root beer; it was mind-numbingly delicious.   My waitress’ name was Amber; she doled out great service and a hospitable attitude.

Though there are many things I love about MickDuff’s Brewing Company; however, there are a few choice things I don’t.  First of all, they call themselves an “Irish” pub, but they are not very Irish. Secondly, they are a very busy restaurant, but they don’t have that much seating. Their acoustics could use a bit of work as well because the restaurant is so loud.

Mickduff’s also has some very good things as well. Patrick Feyen, high-schooler, states, “the chicken wings are amazing!” But, the best thing on the menu, for this reporter is by far the root beer. It is delectable and Oh-so rich. Another whimsical thing about MickDuff’s is their Trivia Tuesdays, which are a great way to test your knowledge of useless facts. The winning trivia group wins gift certificates.  Last, but not least, on the good side of things is that they have a merchandise section with their logo, which is great for tourists.
